Once more remote sensing and satellite data processing provide precious information to support international organizations involved in facing post-earthquake humanitarian crises
ITHACA organized and held a training course on geographical data management. Training attendees were staff from the Pollution Control and Cleansing Department (PCCD) of the Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC).
From the 2nd to the 4th of February, users and developers sat together to release the final GeoNode version 2.4
European PhD and Post-Doc can apply for mobilities to Asia even if not enrolled in partner universities
Within the World Bank financed project MASDAP, ITHACA held a technical training session on the use of satellite data for vulnerability assessment in Blantyre from December 15 to 19, 2014.
The GeoNode Project
A GeoNode application has been deployed to easily share and distribute spatial data through OGC standards. GeoNode includes cartography tools for styling and composing maps through the web, search data with the CSW open catalog standard and a PDF printing function.
