ITHACA @ the 7th workshop on "Remote sensing for territorial management and monitoring" (June 13-14)
The city of San Martino in Pensilis (Campobasso) will host the 7th edition of this thematic workshop whose aim is to share the achievements of remote sensing based applications developed nationally.
The two institutions agreed on a mutual research collaboration in the realm of disaster risk management
On May 14 and 21 university fellows, graduate and undergraduate school students and the general public will be given the chance to visit Ithaca premises to discover our activities.
The 4th International Working Group on Satellite based Emergency Mapping (IWG-SEM) Meeting will be hosted by ITHACA from 22 to 23 April. The IWG-SEM is the voluntary group of organizations involved in satellite based emergency mapping and meets two times a year.
From 4 to 6 March 2013, the Third International Workshop on Global Flood Monitoring and Modelling will take place in Washington, USA, hosted by the University of Maryland to discuss the state of the art in this new and multi-disciplinary field.
The GeoNode Project
A GeoNode application has been deployed to easily share and distribute spatial data through OGC standards. GeoNode includes cartography tools for styling and composing maps through the web, search data with the CSW open catalog standard and a PDF printing function.
